What food you put into your body needs to be utilized by your body, before weight reduction can occur the calories burned needs to be more than calories consumed.

If your excercise program plus your daily sustainable calories add up to 2000 calories per day used but your daily intake of calories is 2500,You Are Going To Gain Weight !!!

So a good daily balanced diet that has minimal fat calories, like weight watchers and other weight conscience programs , or replacing a meal with a complete meal drink all provides satisfactory methods of measuring what your intake is.

Then if you follow a good exercise program while counting your calories making sure to not consume more than you use,you will see a reduction in weight place your muscle tone, energy level and general appearance will be noticeable because of the exercise.

Hello professorephysics, Please check you grammar and take advantage the built-in spell checker this site has when posting. It would really help the rest of us understand what you're trying to say. (Besides, if you really are a "professor", there is no excuse for poor English is there?)

Further more, it would be more helpful if you offer advice or knowledge that isn't already known to most readers. Denzel Rowland's first sentence says it all and the rest of his post helps to substantiate this statement. Now this is a good example of useful and informative post.

Next time, please slow down and put some thought into what you want to convey rather than throwing out .02cents worth of your intellect. I'm sure you have much to offer to us, the readers, so we look forward to future posts from you!

Jackofalltrader (or is it Masterofnone?) - sheesh, lighten up, man! We all know what professorephysics was trying to say, and I thought it was a perfectly valid comment. So maybe more people do need to run a spellchecker before posting comments in order to make them more readable, but a lot of people suffer from dyslexia and other difficulties, some people have had their literacy education disrupted and have difficulties with spelling and grammar, and many people don't know about online spellcheckers. Don't be a snob.

You see, there is no need to get all high and mighty here: this is merely a public comment board for a news article, not a post-graduate thesis proposal; *who cares* if words are misspelled... This really *is* about the general public throwing in their two cents (or .02 dollars) into the discussion - it's not a medical society conference. Just come off your high horse already and chillax! (Yes, I just used some distinctly ungrammatical vernacular terms. It's called 'slang'...) And it's not as if you and Denzel submitted posts with perfect spelling, punctuation and grammar either. You seriously need to review and critique both those posts too, if you're gonna be *that* anal about it... Stop picking on people!

    e.g. Please check you*r* grammar
Take advantage *of* the built-in spell checker
This is a good example of *a* useful and informative post
Throwing *in* (not out) *two cents* (or 0.02[space]*dollars*)*[apostrophe]* worth of your intellect
